KEY ACCOUNTABILITI ES

Busines s Dev e lopment:

  • Lead the development of new business opportunities In focused regions
  • Ensure the highest possible utilization of our assets at the given price level
  • Lead regional client negotiations of large new contracts
  • Define the correct pricing strategy for tenders and bids
  • Coordinate the deployment of P&O Maritime Logistics assets, to ensure optimal utilization of our fleet
  • Develop new opportunities in line with the commercial strategy(new markets, relationship development of potential joint venture partners, new investment projects)
  • Develop new markets and segments
  • Review all tenders and coordinate and monitor contract execution

Marketing:

  • Develop and maintain a process of continual engagement with key clients and monitor regional client contacts to ensure optimal opportunity
  • realization for the commercial division
  • Maintain close relationships cross departmentally to ensure transparency in contract reporting and Information access
  • Promote the reputation of the organization in all dealings with the marine community and clients

Reporting:

  • Conduct monthly reporting on chartering and other commercial activities as well as market analysis
  • Support market analysis and regional revenue budgets and rolling forecast

Organizational:

  • Ensure a consistent business development approach across regions
  • Manages team of commercial staff to ensure appropriate coordination of regional BO efforts
