About this opportunity
Ericsson ONE Beijing, the China hub of Ericsson’s ventures studio, is seeking a highly motivated MBA student Intern to lead one of our portfolio projects that is already in its MVP phase with initial market traction and a working prototype. As the project lead, the ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and will co-lead the existing team of +5 R&D engineers. The candidate will have access to budget decision-making and be in full control of the business activities of the project, including business development, business planning, financial modeling, and commercial strategy. The goal is to bring the project in front of the executive team of Ericsson within 6 months for the industrialization decision that unlocks multi-million USD funding for bringing the solution to the market.
We prefer a candidate with past experience in the industrial/manufacturing domain, specifically in software solutions for improving manufacturing processes or sensors for improving machinery/equipment performance.

What you will do
- Assist in the overall development and execution of the project that ultimately leads to the next round of funding, including but not limited to:
- Conduct market research and build go-to-market strategies for the project
- Create viable value propositions and prepare investor deck reports
- Design business models and business case (pricing, financial modeling, market positioning, etc.)
- Support the process of business development and commercial management
- Oversee the testing and launch of PoC with lead customers with the objective of converting them into commercial opportunities
You will bring
- Education: Undergoing MBA study
- At least 3 years of working experience before MBA study, experience of entrepreneur or launching new products/solutions is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge and apply it in the job
- Ability to develop and drive new ways of working to produce results in a more efficient way
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Competence of detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking in English
