DO — Key Responsibilities
Balancing of Stocks versus Linear
Maximize sales and profitability for the department/category through maintaining ideal weeks cover & set store linear
Prepare and maintain department/category merchandise based on actual sales, initial allocation parameters, inventory checks and awareness of forthcoming events
Product performance analysis & feedback for improvements
Forward Cover, Sell-Through, Trackers & Weekly reports maintained with weekly action plan
Store: Subgroup Levels Sales, Order Quantities, Stock Allocation, Rebalancing, Replenishment
Ensure that the standards of merchandise procedures and methodologies are maintained and kept consistent
Coordinating with the buying team to freeze on the merchandising mix and also monitoring the stock movement
Launch sale / promotions as per brand strategy
Inventory Stock Optimization
Ensure optimum category levels are maintained at Territory level keeping in mind store requirements / store requests
Ensure that stock is managed and out of stocks/excess stock risks are minimized through effective merchandise planning
Ensures shipments are processed through in a timely manner to ensure set sell-thru
Update and maintain the allocation tables through analysis of sales and feedback from Territory
Weekly reports sent – Best sellers /Commercial reports / trackers / KPI’s / Departments
Weekly stores visit & feedback report sent to Operations / Store & Merchandising Teams
Inter-Branch Transfers (IBT)
Review high inventory and slow moving options as per the sales / allocation and maintain the min/max stocks level
Prepare Analysis Reports for stocks improvement & maximizing sale potentials
Stock optimization through allocation/replenishment/consolidations
Analyze & have an action plan for liquidation of best & slow moving merchandise by doing an Inter Branch Transfer (IBT)
Calculate and analyze Sales contribution per product on weekly basis and do the stocks movement according to store sell thru & grading
Maintain weekly / year-to-date IBT trackers with proper feedback to stores
Warehouse Stock Management
Weekly visit in RDC and ensure all allocations/replenishment are constantly happening with maximum pick rate
S1G1 process updated & random checks done
Ensuring all incoming shipments are processed on time for delivery & binning for store DSR
Season Planning – product-phase planning for maximizing current season sell thrus
New shipment tracker maintained on release plan for new shipments
Maximizing sale stocks pushed out from RDC maintained as business requirement
Stocks from CDC requested from Merchandising team as per territory requirement
